A year late

This is our 2nd addition to our family: Bailey. She is [now] a year old now, mostly black female pug. Mostly is due to the obvious three white tipped paws and a small white mark on her chest. This dog has crazy energy levels, so much so that it boggles my mind as to how she could be go-go-go ALL the time! None the less we love her to pieces!

Latest Gaming Kills

Well recently my gaming has been going on in a different genre than I normally play; RPG. Picked up Dungeon Siege 2 and I am pretty much hooked. I have always been able to get drawn into these type of games but rarely play them. Shooters usually draw my attention for whatever reason. If you're a RPG fan or not even I guess, try this one its a fun game.

Events Untill Now

Not a whole lot has been happening the past months that I haven't written. Elizabeth and myself are doing well, happy as ever. Working towards constructing a AMD64 based system for my gaming pleasure, and about 3/4 through Half-Life 2 at the moment. Definitly one of the best single player games to date. More later on perhaps.

Farewell Gabe

Well after much decussion, Elizabeth and myself let go of our puppy, Gabe and he is with a better family now. Got a few calls and we felt it was in his best interest that we give him away. The new family is going to give him far more attention and room for his energy level than what our new place could provide. It was really hard to do, the previous day was a great day for him and us. We had gone up to her father's and Gabe and her father's dog had a great time playing in the backyard. Even after we left and went to a friends place he was basically good. Very hard leaving on that kind of up note. :( He's missed... best of luck to him is all we can hope for.

Gmail Down

Well my main gripe currently with life is that Gmail for me is not working due to a timingout occuring. Been happening about a week now. Very not cool. How is one suppose to be beta testing this for them if it wont show up. Sigh.

Jonsin' for some Creepies

Got my mountain bike fixed finally a few days ago. A new bottom bracket, some minor derailer adjustments and its like new again. In fact it might be even better than like new, hehe. Went to Joe Jones, and the guys had a helluva time getting off my left crank arm, the threads tore out of the soft metal its made of. Thus my input of the ol' Hammer and Screwdriver method, which after a ton of work got the arm off the bracket. Gave me a chuckle non the less. The guys there are were cool about everything.

In gaming-land, Doom3 is out and about for some people (yes, legit) even the release date isnt till the 3rd I think it is. All I have to say is this game has me spooked! Im barely into it too. Nightmares here I come!

Crunch-ness

Things are going very well in the unpacking phase, been busting hump today getting things organized and all that goodness. One thing still remains, it’s amazing how much junk one can collect from one move to the next. Granted it was ~3yrs ago, but still seems crazy.

The animals are doing well, even the maniac dog. We’ve been having some issues with the building supervisor (Tom) to the extent of our being allowed to keep Gabe. Pretty much gotten to the point now that the owner of the complex has had to call him (twice even) to let him know we are allowed to keep the dog. Haven't had any issues since the last incident which was about a week ago. Till the next one I have my fingers crossed.

Work is going smoothly; I have transitioned to the new location quicker than I had thought. The atmosphere is much much more laid back than the previous store. It took me a while to get adjusted. Obviously things do get done when needed and promptly, but there isn’t the thick tension in the air about it. Which is nice.

Been riding my mountain bike to work for the past two weeks now. Actually enjoying it too. Hehe. I have noticed an improvement in my physical ability when riding. Theres a few hills that I was struggling to climb when I had started, but now I can do them without as much trouble. Per the title of this post, I am in need of a new bottom bracket. The current one is wacked from the sounds of its cruchy noises. Payday never comes quick enough.

Moving On Up

What a crazy few weeks up in here. Elizabeth and myself have finally moved into our new home, we closed on the first. Which only took half an hour to complete. Was kinda shocked on this time frame. Hoping to get unpacked here in the next week or so and get some photos up of the condo. We're very happy here so far.

Gaming front, Doom 3 went gold a few days ago. Much anticipation for this game. :)
